Resisted Diagonals

Setup

  • Start sitting or standing holding a band in each hand with one hand at shoulder height and the other slightly lower.

Instructions

  • With the hand that started higher move the arm upward in a diagonal motion.
  • Simultaneously move the hand that started lower downward in a diagonal motion.
  • Return to start and repeat.

Tips

  • Keep arms straight during entire movement.
  • You should feel this in your shoulders and in the muscles in between your shoulder blades.
